Absolute Digital Encoder (ADE®)

Absolute Digital Encoders from Badger Meter are ideal for utilities with existing investments in remote meter reading technologies using industry standard ASCII communication protocols. The ADE utilizes non-contact state-of-the-art light emitting diode (LED) technology to provide a four, five or full six-digit reading, while at the same time eliminating friction and wear of traditional mechanical encoders.
